From the very first time I met Sharyce, she welcomed me into her home, her family, and her life. She had a way of making you feel like you belonged, like you had always been there.
Geeki, as the family lovingly calls her, has been a blessing throughout my adult life. She took me in and accepted me as one of her own. She has always been kind, loving, and a shoulder I knew I could cry on if I needed to; she has always been there for me, and I’ve tried to always be there for her.
Sharyce was the kind of person who made sure you had a warm meal, who accepted you for exactly who you were, and who helped however she could. She wasn’t a pushover, but she could be pushy when she knew you needed it. I will always cherish and remember the good times I spent with her, the smiles, the laughs, the adventures. These are gifts I will carry with me always. I have been truly blessed every minute I have known her.
